Step inside the ancient dwelling place of God.
A life-size replica experience, free and open to all.
In October 2024, Florence First Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted a remarkable outreach experience: a full-size replica of the ancient biblical Tabernacle, open to the entire community. Over ten days, families, students, and seekers of all backgrounds stepped into the holy tent that Moses and Israel carried through the wilderness.
Each guest received a 30-minute guided tour exploring the symbolic meaning of the outer court, the Holy Place, and the Most Holy Place — and had time for quiet, prayerful reflection. Admission was completely free.
Walk through the actual dimensions described in Exodus. Understand what Israel carried through the desert.
Knowledgeable guides explained each element — the altar, the laver, the menorah, the ark — and its deeper meaning.
Christian, Jewish, or simply curious — anyone who ever asked "What did the Tabernacle look like?" found their answer here.
Groups of 12 or more could schedule private tours at no cost. A memorable experience for Sunday school classes, youth groups, and families.
The Tabernacle Encounter may return! If you'd like to be notified about a future event — or if you're a church or organization interested in hosting — leave your info below and we'll be in touch.
